Day 37: I'm hungry momma!!

I have terrible cell service at my house, so if I'm on a call when I pull in the driveway, I just finish the call in the car.  Potter is not so fond of this practice.  He believes I have 30 seconds to get out of the car and have his dinner served or I hear about it.

Day 36: Our trip to the Houston Livestock Show

These are the "mutton" waiting on their trip through the shoot for "Mutton Bustin".
What a sweet face.  And to think there are folks out there that hunt these poor babies!

At a loss for words here.

Day 35: My Baby Girl!

Can't help, I think she's such a pretty baby girl, even with her face going whiter by the day. She'll be 6 in August.

Day 34: More signs of Spring

Ahh, peach blossoms in daylight!  My trees are full of blooms.  I can't wait....for early June!
And this is my Red Bud tree showing her spring 'pinkness'!

Day 33: Peach Blossoms

These peach blossoms were taken with Lisa's flashlight technique.  Yes, when you get home after dark every day and you have to be a little creative with your photography.

But how exciting.....peach blossoms mean spring is on its way.... as well as juicy sweetness!!!

Day 32: Giant Statues

Artist David Adickes, "the sculptor behind the larger-than-life, ivory-white sculptures that dot the Houston landscape."

Day 31: Glenwood Cemetary Tour

So many beautiful angels, exhibiting such sorrow.
Nandina's as winter bearing, but we do appreciate any sign of plant life in February.
Suzie, Judy and a glimpse of Lisa on our photo shoot at the cemetary. Again, any sign of plant life, flowers, etc, grabs our attention.
 Soon I will bear flowers!!!
Love the stair stepped effect, especially in Houston's flatness. But it is the rolling terrain that makes Glenwood so attractive and interesting.
Camelia's, another winter bloomer.  OK, so Lisa laughed at me for googling what the name of the plant was. My sister has camelia's, and I knew their name, but it just wasn't coming too me.
So pretty, I think it's called a tulip magnolia.
And then there's "salt and pepper".

Day 30: Sneak Peak at the Rodeo Parade

Yes, I'm a sucker for horses, flags, cowboys and all things Texas.  These were taken from the back of the Glenwood Cemetary just prior to our tour.

Day 29: Morning Fog

For some SILLY reason, I woke up on Saturday at 5:30 am!  And in the midst of the "kitchen project", needed more goods from Home Depot.  This is taken shortly after 6am in the Home Depot parking lot.

Day 28: It's past time to catch up.....

Such sadness.  If you look closely, her "co-hort in crime" is standing behind her daring her to put her bone down.

Day 27: Isabella

What a special day and true celebration....Isabella's 4th Birthday Party!!! This is my great niece who was diagnosed with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) at 3 months old and the progrnosis was that she wouldn't live to be 2.  Well, again, this party is in celebration of her 4th birthday. Zoo Zoom came with pettable vermin: rabbits, tortoise, hedgehog, glider squirrel, guinnea pigs, rats, snakes, a wallaby, gecko and more, and then came the pony's and goats.  The bottom picture is her momma and daddy holding her as she went for a pony ride. SMILES abounding. Best birthday party I've been too in a long time!!

Day 26: Port Rd RR Bridge at Sunset

I've seen this many times on my way home, but finally had my camera with me.

Day 25: Part 2 - The Bowling Alley

Catching Twaillah catching one of the junior bowlers putting his move on!!!

Day 25: Cali sporting her sweater keeping watch!

Day 24: Days end......

Hand held and blurry, definitely needed my tripod here, but couldn't pass up the photo.

Day 24: Part 2 360 degrees........

Today's PAD (above)..... but standing in the same spot, turned to might right to see two deer crossing Todville and scurry off into the park trail and wanted to capture the warmth of 180 degrees from the setting sun's reflection.
