Stepping out there.

OK, so we have this little photo group that likes to go out to photograph our favorite things and that window is broadening everytime we go on one of our outtings.

So here goes...... welcome to my blog spot and I hope you enjoy the content.

Day 14: He's peeking rhrough the trees

From the driveway, through the trees.

Day 13: Lens Flare

Moon to the right.... kicking some lens flare.

Day 12: To pretty......

A little different exposure, but isn't he pretty!

Day 11: Oh Mr. Moon.....You are so lovely.

This is taken with a 500mm lens with a 2x converter.  It is a lens that my son put a bid on back in the early days of eBay.  It is HEAVY and manual focus, so it can be a little challenging to use, but gives pretty good pics.

Day 10: The Ferris Wheel at the Kemah Boardwalk

We were all experimenting with different exposures while on our trip to the Kemah Boardwalk to celebrate Russell's birthday.

Day 9: On my way to the Kemah Boardwalk (via shortcut)

The plants have moved in admist the wildlife but there are several herds of deer that stay in the area. I usually pass 3 different herds on my trip home in the evenings.

Day 8: George....the cutting begins

It's cold, at least by Houston standards....and George is cutting tiles for the counter.

Day 7: Sabrina

Meet Sabrina.  Black from head to tail, in her least favorite position, on her back.  George just can't resist.

Day 7: Bull nose going on....

This is my daughter-in-law Toran installing the bullnose...... it's coming along.

Day 6: The Kitchen Counter....

Old counter removed, new plywood top down......

Day 5: Sabrina and Sophie

OK, Sabrina (the black blob on the left) and Sophie (a VERY cranky Siamese) are never happy to be in the same room at the same time, but when it's cold, it's ok to be on opposite sides of the heater!

Day 4: Meet timid and shy Chloe

Chloe is naturally timid and shy, and doesn't stand a chance living with "The Boss" and the "Wild Child". Sweet as can when it's just you and her. If memory serves me, she's 10, soon to be 11.

Day 3: The Wild Child

What can I say!  Cali is a 2 year old Boxer Mix and is just plain wild!  A force to be reckoned with, but has her tender moments. Monday night temps were near freezing and the floors are cold in my old wood floored house. I was sitting on the couch visiting with my son and daughter-in-law about an upcoming project (you'll see pics in the days ahead) and she decided she wanted under my fleece lap throw. Front half of her body in my lap, under the blanket, and falling asleep. Her "booty" would drop and she'd stir and snort with disapproval. We laughed!

Day 2: Next on the heap is Harry "Potter"

My niece was 6 years old when momma kitty had her litter.  Sarah named all the kittens after her favorite characters.  My son took to Harry "Potter" so he wasn't given away.  His expression says alot - he IS the boss, and hunter extradorinaire (not so much to my liking). He's sweet, salty, and spicy all rolled into one cat!
